I found an unauthorized charge for $7.99 by Adv-Online.net on my checking account (VISA check transaction) on June 13. I called them four times at 916-812-0187 (cell phone?). It is voice mail and no one returns calls. I also emailed them at [email protected] and received no reply. Business must be bad, they are now down to $5.95!
I have no idea how they got my ATM/VISA number and password. I am very careful when I enter my info at stores and look for card-catching devices at ATMs. I searched for info on them, but could find no clue as to who they are or where they are located, other than the 916 area code (Sacramento area of CA).
