My misadventure with USA Card Services started with a search on line for at home business oportunities, where I dodged mlm and scam one after another. Not long after I recieved a call from USACS about a program that was supposed to include a website, training, personal coach, paid advertising, ect, and would take unter 10 hours a week of my time. He said they were a member of the BBB and for me to qualify, they needed to run a credit check and make sure I was motivated to succede.
I was qualified right away, and sent the contract. My biggest concern was about the card termanal, but they told me that was for shows and future on site sales. I kept trying to read the contract and was inturuped numerous times. I noticed that some pages were missing. He said they didn't have to be signed and would be sent later. Not knowing enough about these things, and being in a rather deperate situation, it sounded alright enough at the time. Now I realise how good they were at cover up and dogding around around my questions while dangling a carrot in my face.
Then the problems began. The maching arived, but inoperable. They said it need to be reprogrammed, which never was down loadable. My site had problems from the get-go. Customer support was rarely available. My personal coach didn't contact for weeks, and was swamped and not very helpfull when he did materialize.
Then I had to have surgery and was out for a while, then more surgery. I was unable to do anything with my site. I Planned how I would get right back to it when I was better, really dive in and make it work. Then yet another surgery.
Finally better, I went to work with a vegance to make this work! I read everything, which was confusing and not very helpfull. My web site still didn't work right. It even deleted whole pages of what I worked so hard on! And the tec, when I finnaly got one, said it was my fault. Sorry.
At one point I got a call to see how I was doing, and I told them about the machine and the site. They said the site was out of their hands, but they could fix the machine, send it back to them. They even sent me postage after I bugged them about being broke paying for a site that didn't work and them not keeping their word so far. So I sent the machine in. I never heard back. Never got a machine back either. They never sent the complete contract to me either, for that matter.
I have been trying for months to get ahold of somebody, anybody, but no one is there. I get calls for people who will help me for aditional charges, othre companies, but I don't have the money and why sould I pay for and upgrade to something that should work right in the first place? Then I find the scam reports here. You can't tell me I never tried, I didn't work at it. I did. Hard! I even traded in favors to friends who design and run websites, who also had trouble with it.
I tried so hard to avoid scams, but I wasn't good enough. There were a very few people who were helpfull in the begining, but the rest should be ashamed. I will not be taken in again, and I wish to see justice for all the people who were offered to hope of having an at home business with all the tools and training to bring success.
I spent way more than the 10 hours a week working on my site after I recovered, hoping after I got it going it would drop. Not only have I been robbed, but my husband and children have been robbed of the time and money I put into this that should have been theirs.
