I was supposed to receive a 90-day free trial suscription to Time Magazine, just for rating a business for Bizrate.com, and after that, If I decided to suscribe, they would charge my credit card... Guess what? Three weekly issues later (still on my trial period) I was charged $50!!! How in hell do they know I want to suscribe after the trial period??? To top that off, I would be receiving a 1-year suscription, which I can get over the Internet for less that $40... It wouldn't be wise to suscribe to a magazine for 50 bucks if I can do it for less, would it??? I've already call my bank to let them know I will dispute the charge... Also, I will call the 1800 3216247 number I got to cancel the goddamn suscription and get a full refund, if I'm charged by the bank... Be careful with those "FREE" trials... If they ask you for your credit card number, high chances are they are going to charge you whatever amount of money pretty soon... Honest free trials will give you samples in advance and then contact you to verify whether you want to continue under a suscription basis... Now I know... A little bit late, I might say...
