I resold Ivenue's website software for about a year. All was well until I started making a high volume of sales. What started out to be a dream turned out to be a night mare.
Ivenue and Dollars By Design sell a website interface. They use resellers to market the software. The standard fee for a reseller is $250.00 to process a website order. If the reseller sells the software for $1999.99 then the reseller gets the diffrence which would pay out roughly $1750.00. Basically the reseller gets 75% of the up front setup fee. Ivenue and Dollars By Design process the initial sale through their merchant account, ten days later if the client hasn't charged back a commission check gets sent out to the sales rep who sold the deal.
Sounds to good to be true right? Well it is. I dominated all of their other resellers in orders and deals brought in.in eight months I sold 87 accounts. All was well until I hit it big in commission payouts, then the trouble started.
Checks weren't sent out, phone calls were never returned all of the usual black ball routine. To make a long story short Ivenue and Dollars By Design with held seventeen thousand dollars of my commission money. When confronted Ivenue and Dollars By Design managers were unwilling to communicate. I had to shut the business down and then loose everything I own. If a company can take money you earn and never pay you or listen to your grievence they should be shut down.
You can put a man on the streets in the cold Ivenue and Dollars By Design but you can't break my sole. If any Lawyers read this report and want to look into my case I have all the reports that were with held on file. The problem is after losing 17,000 dollars I can't pay to sue these guys in court.
