Well I too recieved a bill in the mail The bill was for 80.00 for a call to the same number listed before to UK. I was happy I remember the little live cam pop up that drove me and my wife crazy. It knocked us off line and tried to dial up constantly. I had to unplug my modem to make sure I was not getting connected. It took a week to find and get rid of this program. I am not sure where I picked it up, but once it dials, it will not let you stop it.
I had to pull the phone line every time. So I was glad when the donor of this virus showed it's face. This is a crime in Texas. I am a police Detective and I will be looking into criminal charges. I am not going to accept them dropping there bill, because for every one of us that stands up to this scam, a lot of other people just pay it. Many people would feel embarrassed to report anything about porn on there computer. That is the scam angle. They pay instead of risking embarrassment. I feel I have an obligation to Stop it for good. I hope they were wearing gloves when they stuffed this letter.
Because it is going to the crime lab tomorrow. I am also going to call every friend I have in State and federal Law enforcement to give this attention. And we should start a Class action.
