Moughenda Mikala of Iboga House is a big scam. I spent thousands of dollars over what I should have paid for a dirty house, and being given a "traditional Bwiti shamanic ceremony" in a garage and a couple pills of Iboga while Moughenda watched movies on his laptop all night. He was extremely rude and we all felt a horrible vibe upon first getting there (me and most of the other people doing the ibogaine treatment).
It is unbelievable how they have no compassion, did not respect the ceremony not that it was a real one anyway, and was talking with apprentices and clients while we were supposed to be journeying, and was very distracting and unfortunate. Had no benefits from the treatment and I know the plant is great, I think just being in such a horrible environment with zombie-like people repeating the same thing each night during the "ceremony" in a foreign country after paying so much made it so depressing and I could not focus or feel that safe. The whole week was absolutely ridiculous, shower breaking, food was the same and very cheap, not at all health food or anything of the sort (a few meals were fried oily sausages) and I just want to warn others who are considering going. This place is absolutely lacking in compassion and love. Where is the spiritual element, really, when the charge is so much and Moughenda looks like he gives two shits on what you're actually going through, barely spends any time with you, and the apprentices try to help but they don't seem to be healed themselves at all and are quite antisocial and reserved...
I'm sorry I wasted all of my money on something so falsely marketed. Please research before going, google Moughenda... Do your homework. This is not something to take lightly.
