The business claimed to be a compassionate and understanding Assisted Living home, they told me the reason they wanted to hired me was because of my experience with personal cares for my mother and autistic son. They hired me the same day of my interview and I filled out new hire paperwork right away and started with orientaion that day. They told me that my time during training was not paid for but looking back at their hire papers it clearly states that they pay minimum wage during training and orientation. They failed to notify me that they changed their mind about wanting to keep me almost 2 1/2 months after I was hired. The claimed to have called me and told me, as they said in an unprofessional email sent to me at 9p two weeks ago. I had made contact with the company every week after my first week of training to find out when I would start and all I got was people telling me that someone would get back to me by the end of the day or by the next morning. When I called the owner of the business she said that she didn't know what happend to me and the woman that hired me figured that I wasn't interested in working for them since they never heard from me. I put the little money that I had down on a vehicle thinking that I would've had income coming in within the next month, due to my car repeatedly having issues and was becoming harder to rely on for getting to and fro places, and was becoming more of a hazeard to have my 2 yr old riding in it with me, and I lost the vehicle due to not knowing that I was going to be jobless for another period of time.
I am still getting papers together to prove this to them that they did hire me, and looking at their record of neglect I am thankful that I am NOT apart of their company due to their lack of compassion. This is a crooked place and they owe me not only for what I put in for time for training that was SOOOO important to get done immediately, but also for repairs, gas, and child care! When I could not afford it! And they should be ashamed of themselves! I am a single mother caring for my disabled mother and autstic son. I have no income and never know when my son's father will pay his support. ALOT of money was wasted for a company that didn't even want anything to do with me in the first place. FALSE ADVERTISMENT!
They should lose their building and have to pay for their wronging to the residents and those that truely have seen the harm they have done. They will be hearing from an attorney if I am not refunded for what I wasted my time with, when I have more important things to focus on then being mislead and thrown around like a rag doll!
