My son went to St. Jude's several years ago. He managed to stay sober for about a year and a half and then relapsed several times since. He decided to give them another try. After less than two weeks, he was kicked out on unsubstantiated charges by another addict. He was dumped at a run-down motel 45 minutes away with no further concern whatsoever for his welfare. St. Jude's has refused to return our money, amounting to around $10,000 for the remaining 4 weeks he would have been there. This seems to be a rather common scam on their part - accept an addict then kick him/her out and keep the money. Who would want to go to a facility that actually cares so little about the people seeking their help??? I think we should all get together and sue as a group. I certainly don't intend to let this drop.
