Complaint / Review
Governor John Kasich
State Medical Board of Ohio Project jobs ignores the problems with health care for women in Ohio - where women MDs get their licenses pulled for insisting on blood work & casts for fractures, Omnicare will be sending the women e

The last two Executive Directors of the State Medical Board of Ohio - Mr. Whitehouse & Mr. Dilling - have not believed in blood work for women physicians let alone women patients. Mr. Tom Dilling thinks that women physicians, except Carla O'Day & Anita Steinbergh, only need blood work once every 2 decades. Women physicians are not allowed care-to-function before having their licenses pulled as they try to order the blood work that they need on themselves, get another splint out-of-state at the Mayo Clinic, or get a family friend MD to order their physical therapy - stuff that the male orthopedic MDs won't write for women colleagues in Ohio.

Ohio orthopedics, as evidence by University/Metro (Cleveland) Orthopedic Michael Keith MD, can't tell an inflamed vein from a tendon - even when it is anatomically located where a tendon is. Governor Kasich has bought into the local psychosis in this regard; he can't make an independent judgment and require some transparency (the T-word) at the State Medical Board of illusion. It's all about Brad. Well, as in the Field of Dreams, if you build it they will come - which translates for medical care & job opportunities in Ohio that, if you have them, the businesses will come - without all the leverage & hoopla project management stuff - which is expensive in itself. If Ohio respected women physicians, women's health care, and jobs for women - businesses would have been here yesterday and stayed.

Women MD's in Ohio just need a new right Ohio psychiatrist, who won't diagnose a thyroid problem in a million years, but will try to get alot of money for Board ordered evaluations - the psychiatrists don't have enough other business in Ohio. Ohio Board ordered evaluations of women physicians are done at non-medical facilities, community centers, and by Board-approved experts who have promised a diagnosis for being a difficult personality. Governor Kasich himself is a difficult personality. And if the Medical Board doesn't get a diagnosis after five tries, they will try again and cheat again - women have to be diagnosed in Ohio, drugged, and compliant as in some sci-fi nightmare.

These Ohio Medical Board 'goes, which are suppposedly 'fact, ' are evaluations that no medical insurance will cover because of no indication; politicians are allowed to disagree, but not women physicians in Ohio. These are evaluations done to make up a case against someone trying to do their MD job.

The Ohio taxpayers pay for these falsified evaluations done to waste a women MD's time, career, etc. Would like to see Governor Kasich go to one of these 'goes' - he gets his traffic tickets fixed or has a blow-out. Women physicians can't get upset, have to be 'Kate' royally courteous and never object to a male idea, etc., or they have a 'personality problem' and are being 'defensive' = a diagnostic medical license 'impairment' in Ohio. Different standards apply to Governor Kasich v women physicians in Ohio - one can object, the other can't.

Women MDs get their licenses pulled in Ohio for trying to do care as they have been taught in their residency programs - just minimal care for themselves & their patients - as promoted by the American College of Physicians. Governor Kasich is going along with this - where women physicians have their licenses pulled, and are continually scheduled for evaluations without medical care, for 'confidential' complaints by their male & female colleague competitors, after these competitors have nearly killed, or maimed them, with bad care. Governor Kasich can't think the problem through as Governor Perry in Texas finally has.

Dr. Abby Abelson at the Cleveland Clinic won't interfere with a woman physician getting getting little to no care and continuing to fracture bones - her thyroid condition had to be diagnosed out-of-state so that the State Medical Board was not liable for the malpractice - Dr. Abelson wouldn't 'interfere.' So are Omnicare workers going to get any blood work? - not likely. The best of the women physicians won't help other women physicians - they have to go along and watch someone be abused like in the locker rooms at Penn State. JoePa isn't the only creep in the business of looking the other way.

The State Medical Board Members don't know what a thyroid 'panel' is - they can't tell you anything if you ask them something 'medical' - the indications for ordering it, the labs it includes & their normal ranges, or the symptoms of thyroid problems - which can include easy fractures of younger women patients. Businesses moving into Ohio, or staying put, need to consider the health industry standards in Ohio - gone. You can go to the Cleveland Clinic Bone Metabolism Department and never have a general screen of blood work ordered, no bone markers, and only an occasional vitamin D or TSH level (and that's the best care supposedly).

There's little, if any, agenda for women to improve their heath care in Ohio - and even women MDs have to get their blood screens, fracture casts & splints elsewhere - the Ohio State Medical Board only believes in 'goes' for MENSA IQ women MDs. Mr. Whitehouse enjoys 'getting back' at smart women - it's fun. Project jobs doesn't include keeping women MDs on the job and healthy - they want you fractured, flat on your back for Dr. Nice's personal needs, and out of your Fellowships - there isn't a thing that Governor Kasich is doing to improve this.

Businesses moving or staying in Ohio need to consider that women physicians can't get medical care or have careers without 'confidential' destroying their lives - and these are 'confidential' complaints by physicians 'hitting' on the women physicians for personal needs, physicians who wanted free use of their offices, or wanted to try 'experimental' on their fractures (males don't fracture enough). Some 'confidential' complainers are just concerned about the competition = the general Ohio paranoia.

'Confidential' complaints are being misused big-time in Ohio at the State Medical Board, with Governor Kasich's ok, to go after colleague physicians with no complaints - to destroy their practices, their health, their Fellowships & careers. The Medical Board has some physicians that have been re-appointed 4x with no turnover in 20 years in those spots. Governor Kasich won't even ask for resignations from these 'perpetual' Members, who protect their 'friend' MDs for a contractual/appointment price, or appoint an new Executive Director with a little more 'common sense' about women's medical care. Governor Kasich's common sense initiatives don't apply to the State Medical Board of Ohio.
