I booked an appointment with BriteSmile and the "treatment" was $525.00. The representative guarenteed my teeth to be at least 9 shades whiter. The contract dentists to perform the treatments. I was given the name of the dentist only after I paid the fee. The day of my appointment, the dentist's office called and needed to cancel my appt. Because the person who did the treatment was ill.
I rescheduled the appt. For a later date (this would make the 2nd work day I missed). The day of that appt. They called again and said the person who does the service had a sick child and needed to cancel. This time, I told them I just wanted a refund. They called back within 15 minutes and had an opening that day two hours later. The person who performed the treatment was able to come in after all. I had the treatment performed and the minute I left the office, I was not happy with the results. The light in the office were not bright enough to allow me to see the difference.in natural light, they looked exactly the same. I waited a few days just to see if there was any change.
I followed the "rules" exactly. I called back to tell them that I was unhappy and they rescheduled me a third time. Unfortunately, I went back to have a "touch up" treatment done. Once again, I didn't see any change in the color of my teeth. I called BriteSmile on 11 ocassions wanting a refund. They refused to give me a refund and said that the money needed to be refunded through the dentist who performed the service.
The dentist's office said they did the best they could and my teeth were already on the top of the chart for whiteness. They failed to mention this when I went in initially. I am most unsatisfied with their "guarantee" and their customer service. I am also unhappy that they don't stand behind their service, but instead make the performing dentist be accountable. So now I'm out $525, have teeth the same color as they were before and have spend 3 days off work to look exactly the same.
