Horizon Blue Cross of NJ is in collusion with Magellan Behavioral Healthcare. They conduct false advertising by stating that they will reimburse members for healthcare claims for up to 70% for an out-of-network provider, but consistently deny claims. They say the member did not receive authorizarion when the member clearly did, and make up other excuses to deny claims.
Members call Horizon on the phone asking for assistance, but are told to call Magellan - thereby just giving members the run-around. Do not do business with this company. You'll be paying premiums and not get reimbursed for legitimate claims.
