I signed up for a free trial of Vivd White Smile. The offer was 'free' with nominal shipping and handling. This was done on 6-16-10.
I was then surprised to find an additional charge of over 87$ posted to my account on 6-28 when I had not even received the initial product.
I called 866-877-8751 and spoke to John Holliven who stated that I had not signed up for the free trial but the actual service. I told him he was incorrect - I had been charged the 3.75 for the shipping on the free trial as well. He then said since I accepted the terms of using my credit card when I checked out for the free trial I automatically set myself up for the full service.
I told Mr Holliven I did not sign up for the service, I wanted the charges revoked and all I wanted was the free trial. He kept reiterating the terms and conditions at checkout. I then asked for his supervisor and told him I intended on filing a complaint with the BBB and also telling my bank that the charges were fraudulent. He stated I could send back the unopened product for a refund. He would never let me talk to his supervisor despite by insistence and willingness to hold on the phone.
I also intend on filing a fradulent charges application with my bank as well.
