Due to the fact that this company is not large enough to keep you gainfully employed many under handed things have been done and said to me and about me. While employed by this company I was told repeatedly what a great job I was doing and praised as much as possible. I'm a down to earth REAL person a single Mom trying to make it in this world I don't care about THINGS I care about PEOPLE. I have several years experience in the home care field and I take care of my clients the same way that I would expect anyone in my own family to be taken care of. I enjoyed being able to help the elderly stay in their homes for as long as they possibly could. I found Home care to be a very rewarding job and I became very close with most of my clients who would glady disprove accusations made about me by anyone in this co.
I became laid off due to lack of work while employed by this company. After a few months I was put in a situation in which a client required much more care then any non medical home care is legally able to perform and when I brought this to my employers attention it was blown off and swept under the rug... Long story short they tried to block my unemployment over this when this client returned home for the hospital and I was expected to return there. They were unable to block my beneifits over this but they surely tried. However they were finally able to block my unemployment and it was a very underhanded act... Now they havent phoned me or returned my phone calls and upon trying to find work elsewhere while my appeal is in with unemployment. They actually had the nerve to say that I was unreliable and not subject for rehire. Hmmm after all of that praise I didnt even know that I was fired??? So hey what a great company right?
