Southside Regional Medical Center
Misdiagnosed

On 10/26 my wife Louise O Anderson was taken to the emergency room by ambulance after fainting at 17:30hrs.in our home. She saw Dr. Khan, Khalid who diagnoses was (FAINTING SYNCOPE). She was discharged 20:52 and went home.

At 05:42 I called the emergency again because she was breathing erratic and sweating a lot. I checked her sugar because she is a diabetic. Her sugar was 253, so I new that was not the problem. The ambulance arrived in about 10 to 12 minutes. Took her back to emergency; This time she saw Dr. Kumar who said she had had a heart attack.

After cauterization she was instructed not to move for four hours. But Nurse Ross, Natalie and Marcus moved her after 2 1/2 hrs.in the process of moving her she began to bleed. Someone came fro cauterization to fix it. She had been given an Angio-Seal.

On November 3 I worte Ava Warren the Hospital Patient Director but have not heard form her. That is why I am writing this complaint. I would like to email you a copy of the letter I wrote her and send you a copy of the discharge report. (804-861-4820) 539 Petty St Petersburg, Va. 23805-9329
