So last year I signed up for a $4500 package of hair removal for my legs and underarms. The package was supposed to be for monthly treatments for two years. Since March I have only been treated 8 times. I call to make appointments and they tend to NEVER have any openings available. Also when you try to reschedule an appointment they charge you $35 each time. Most importantly it hurts like hell and has not even slightly reduced the amount of hair on my body. This company is a scam.
In Feb 09 I mistakenly mentioned I wanted to add another body part to my hair removal package. The next day they called me and said I needed to come in and sign the receipt. I stopped in and said I had changed my mind and I did not want to add another body part. They told me that I needed to sign the $500 receipt before they could reverse charges. So I did, and now two months later they still have not reversed charges for a service I never even received.
To top it off, I can't even schedule an appointment for the $4500 worth of treatments because they are booked solid! This company is a scam!!! EVEN IF THE TREATMENT WAS EFFECTIVE IN HAIR REMOVAL GOOD LUCK GETTING AN APPOINTMENT. American laser takes customers money and then moves on to next victim. Lesson to us all NEVER pay for a service until it is actually rendered.
