I ordered a free sample of the AcaiBerryDetox on 2/13/09. Did not receive it f until around the end of February and called company to cancel possible auto ship of next bottle on March 4. They gave me a cancelation number and I thought all was done.
Later that same day I logged onto my bank account and found an $87.13 debit from this company. I called back to see what this was for and they told me that it was a charge for my original "free" sample. I was being charged because I had not called them within 14 days of "ordering" the sample to make my cancelation.
I explained that I had called within 14 days of "receiving" the product and asked how could I cancel something that was a sample until after I had tried it? I asked for a supervisor but was told that it was company policy and no one would tell me differently. She then hung up on me. I canceled my check card to guarantee that no other charges would follow.
