I ordered the trial size AcaiBerry for Weight Loss online. There was no indication that more bottles would be sent without my express approval. With the Trial Size came a full regular size bottle for which I found a charge of $89.31 on my next Visa bill.
When I called the 800 #for Fullfillment to question this charge, Rebecca, the Senior Agent, told me that when I ordered the trial size, I agreed to pay for future shipments, unless I cancelled the order within 14 days of requesting the order. It took 5 days to get here, leaving very little time for the product to prove itself! They charged me for a full size bottle before I even had a chance to try the product. Rebecca said that all of this is explained in the Terms on the website.
Going back, I found Terms at the very bottom of the page in small print. No where else on the website did it tell the consumer how much the product would actually cost&if you did not cancel in 14 days.
Totally unethical & certainly on the shady side of legal. I told Rebecca to cancel the order & that I would not pay for products that I did not order. I offered to send the products back but she refused & said she could not accept any orders that have been shipped.
This company is preying on the public by sending products to them & making them responsible for canceling. The terms also say that they will send Price Limbo for $8.51 a month & Bonus # 2 Fit Factory (whatever that is) for $29.95 a month.
I called Visa & will be sending a Letter of Dispute for any charges from this company — which is being run out of a P O Box, not a legal street address. That in itself is fishy.
I hope no one else is foolish enough or naive enough to fall for this FREE TRAIL SIZE crap!!! It is a big rip off&
