I was also the victim of this Company or companies. They have many faces all with same intent [ thieving ]. They do advertise a sample of acai berry, 14 days for 1.00 shipping. Period!!! Then before any further activity, BAM! They hit your bank card or credit card with 29.95, You ask what for? Oh that's a membership for a search engine... Yeah right!
When you have finally reached the bank or C/C company and tried to straighten this mess out, then comes the 89.95 fee and a promise that they will continue to bill you for what? Without authorization? Then you are tangled in circles with the credit card or bank people. I will say this...
I have been victimized b4 with this sort of thing (3 yrs ago), if you must occaisionally try a purchase where you are not familiar with the Co., I am advised and feel that it's best to give a credit card _ NOT A DEBIT CARD_,
It's much easier to get the acct number changed and help from the credit card people than to ruin your bank acct...
PS: my creditor in both incidents was Capital One, and as much as I hate the thieving that CCs do, I must say that Cap One, in cases such as these are very helpful, and very quick. Thanks to this site and all who Open their mouths and expose these would be con artists... Reguards
