I called Cinergy on July 21 to cancel a pervious call on health insurance claim. I had called earier to inquire about health insurance. I was told by a sales person named George, that I hadto obtained the insurance at that time to hold the advertise quote. I got the company off the t.V. I did just that gave my checking account number for the money to be automated withdrawl from myaccount. On July 21 I called back and talk to a Georgio andanother sales person to informed them that I will not be able to afford this insurance and that I wanted to cancel. I do rememberGeorgio telling me that he could extend my membership until Aug. But I again informed him that I would not be able to afford it theneither. Well, Cenergy is telling me that I did not cancel for Sept. And they were not wrong in withdrawing money from my accountand causing me to have overdrafts and returned check fees. I have no membership number no account never used the insurance. Cingergy told me that a package was sent out in Sept. I asked for a package in July but never recieved one. I was toldto go on the internet for information about the company. I have noinsurance because the company I was working for closed. I wasblessed to get a pension. I am the head of my household I haveno extra money to give away. Cinergy took 368.00 dollars frommy account and cause me an overdraft and return check fees. AllI want from them is the money they took. Cinergy refuses to refund me any money. Cinergy tells me they have a telephonecall that I cancel but that I agreed to the extention. Cinergy is saying that I am a lie. What kind of business practice is this!
