This is a buyer-beware alert regarding Jeri Lynn Sunok, a personal fitness trainer in Orange County California operating under the name OC Body Sculpture, in Irvine California. She also calls herself the "Fitness Intuitive".
I hired Jeri Lynn Sunok as my personal fitness trainer in 2008 and I want to warn others about her from my own experience. She is not what she claims to be, in fact most of her claims are completely false.
The reason that I tried her was her claim to be the Fitness Intuitive, but after months of working out with her it was clear that there is nothing intuitive about her or her methodology. The only intuition she seems to have is to spot a sucker. Jeri Lynn Sunok, the Fitness Intuitive sounds great, but there is nothing backing it up; apparently it is how she justifies her prices with people who don't know any better. Her self-stated target market is the wealthy population in Orange County, and masquerading as a spiritual person is a ruse to lure them in. Her only interest is your money.
With Jeri Lynn Sunok, what you see is what you get. Would you go to a personal trainer who is overweight, out of shape, and shows up late consistently for workouts with a latte and a snack? Would you pay $1400 per month for it?

Don't sign her contract without a few important modifications. For example, even though it's OK for Jeri Lynn Sunok to cancel a few appointments here and there, if you go over a single workout on a month-to-month plan (by her reckoning) she will tell you that you owe her for an entire month. Beware of what you are agreeing to, because this girl is all about money (your money, that is). If you read her contract closely you probably wouldn't sign it.
Jeri Lynn Sunok advertises that she offers 10,000 workouts.in reality, all she knows is boxing, and if you work out with her that is exactly what you will learn, nothing more. Training with Jeri Lynn Sunok means that you are going to learn boxing, period, because that's all she knows.
All the pictures of Jeri on her website are over 20 years old. You may not recognize her when you actually meet her.
Jeri also brands herself as a Celebrity Fitness Trainer. That entire idea comes from a couple of soap opera stars she trained decades ago some for just a single session. Don't be duped into thinking that you are being trained by a professional who sculpts movie stars for their roles. Jeri is a huge name dropper, and I think most of those celebrities would not approve of the unauthorized use of their name and likeness.
Jeri claims her business, OC Body Sculpture, to be something that it is not. When taping a video recently for marketing purposes, she brought in several people who are not her own personal fitness training clients in order to make her classes look bigger. The last class I saw had only 2 students.
The bottom line is that from start to finish, Jeri Lynn Sunok, Fitness Intuitive, OC Body Sculpture, is nothing but a big ripoff.
