It took Aetna-SRC 4 months and the intervention from the NH Ins. Commissioner's office 4 faxes and letters from the dental office just to get a 155.00 dental claim paid, and then Aetna lied to the NH Ins. Dept. Saying they had never received a prior claim. Yet I got a refusal to pay a duplicate claim in the mail last week. Then there are the two separate but related disability claims that disappeared down Aetna's black hole. The first time my claim was delayed 30 days; this time it will be at least 30 days if not more. Both times my surgeon's office could prove they'd sent prior requests. The latest comment I've received from Aetna is "I'm sorry for your inconvenience"... Dear God, if they consider being without the meager disability money that goes to pay for food and gas-an inconvenience, what do they consider a real emergency?
