Re: western dental treatment
I have had to use Western Dental due to being on SSI and in the past I've had issues with appointments lasting on average 5-6 hours.
I choose a different office one that opened in the same town i live in and omg they told me that for 2 teeth i was told i needed a specialist... They gave me 2 referrals that were no good and i ended up having to have 1 of them pulled due to infection after over a year.
Went back to Concord Office and same old routine your there for 5 hours for a 1 hour procedure. Well to shorten incident the dentist working on me was giving me 1 or 2 root canals she had already given me approx 3 shots because they were wearing off before she'd come back to do treatment finally in approx 4 hours later she is working on me then again leaving she returns to do the serious part of the work and in middle of it she hit a nerve or something and tears started rolling down my face she GRABBED the needle with elbow up rammed the needle into the roof of my mouth soooo hard my feet were up against my butt! [* note ELBOW UP* force] i had that block in my mouth to keep jaws open which i know i was trying to push it back with my tongue and she yelled at me which was understandable but then she SHOVED it back and yelled at me.
I was in so much uncomfortable pain and she went to take off again to work on someone else i finally told her I'd been there for 5 hours and demanded her to finish the damn job!
Finished? No 5 1/2 hours later she finally fills the teeth with that white temp stuff well she also had filed my 3 teeth down 1/2 the size of normal on the inside of teeth preparing them for crowns. Nice NO! There was no authorization for the crowns.
Oh forgot to mention that every time the dental assist would walk out to get something she say "stupid girl" man goes by and i think it was her boss she says "stupid man" not just once during visit multiple times.
OK here is how its ended i requested a different dentist spoke to the floor mgr dentist guy told him everything to get advice and he said to talk to her to get things worked [mind u this is separate visit] 2 1/2 hours later sitting in the chair here she comes wiping her face off from lunch! No no no no no they scheduled me and others during her lunch? Now why?
Now i am having pain where she worked on my teeth oh and i received a service termination letter and am waiting to find another dentist. My teeth are off kilter am bitting my lip cheeks and tongue so often i might as well just get a hammer and to dull the pain.
Now here are some things wrong on my part, due to illness and I'll admit other reasons but my fault I've had to change several appointments because knowing that am suppose to take care of children i cant exactly hire a sitter for the sitter for an all day appointment and those 5-6 hour appointments send a rush of anxiety over me. I also called each time even before the offices opened to reschedule.
There is no excuse and I know am not the only one having these problems cuz at least 1 sometimes a few ppl leave some cursing or yelling due to the wait time and i don't mind couple of hours and hey heavy job a few hours but do not put me in there for 5-6 hours or during some ones lunch time and ABOVE ALL don't hurt your patients!
The roof of my mouth hurt so bad and was black & blue and purple and could barely stand my tongue touching it and which I've never had along with a scab A SCAB! They are a soft tissue but a scab was sooo gross.
Beware there is alot of things going on there they should fixing and don't the OFF MGR NEVER returned my calls they're were many of them there is more but this is way to long.
