I don't know if these guys are running a scam or are just incompetent. My credit card was billed the day I ordered glasses from their website, but in the 9 weeks that followed, I've gotten nothing: no glasses, no response to emails, no answer at the phone number listed on their website (you get sent to a full voice mailbox), and no refund. I did some googling in various forums and found lots of other customers with the same complaint (6,9, 10 weeks of no glasses and dead silence).
At first I thought that VALUEglasses must have gone out of business, but I see they're still active as an ebay seller. About 10% of their recent ebay customers have had the same complaint I have, but apparently the other 90% are satisfied. I'm mystified at that. Ebay's public feedback pages seem to at least force the company to pay attention: I never got a response from these guys, but they've posted several rebuttals to negative ebay posts.
