Angelic Touch Massage
Not sure if this was racial discrimination or simply an incredibly rude person that cheated me of paid time. Ripoff

My experience was anything but angelic. When I first walked in, the owner did not say hello, nor introduced herself, (I still don't know her name but I know she owns the business) she simply handed me a paper for me to fill out.

While I was filling out the form, I told her that I had gotten there half an hour early and made the mistake of going outside into the hot day to clean my car windows while I waited for her and now I was sweaty. I was kind enough to let her know in case she wanted me to come back some other day freshly showered (If I was a massage therapist I would make that mandatory!)

Me: Do you have a problem with it?
Ms Angelic: Do YOU have a problem with it?
Me: It's you working on a stranger's sweaty body I'm just being considerate
Ms Angelic: I have a problem if you haven't showered in a week
I really didn't think much of that comment at the time, but I started to notice her hostile disposition.

She started to ask questions about my medical condition (disc protrusion) and became irritated when I couldn't remember the name of medication I get injected two or three times a year (although I told her the type, but not the brand name). I assured her I wasn't there for medical treatment and the massage would not in any way aggravate my existing condition. I simply wanted a massage to pamper myself and relieve stress.

Ms Angelic: Well, that is not what I do
Me: Would you like me to leave? There was silence for about 30 seconds
Ms Angelic If that is what you would like to do
Me: Will you refund the gift certificate to the person who gave it to me?
Another 30 seconds of silence
Ms Angelic: I can just do a relaxation massage if that is what you want
Me: Yes, that is what I would like

So I stripped and laid on her work table/bed. The sheets did not smell fresh and she had just given a massage to a gentleman ewww (I may just be obsessive with cleanliness). The massage started nice, but then she answered the phone in the middle of the session! I was left on the table and could hear her carrying on a conversation I did not like that.

When she finally returned what she did for me did feel good but I felt she spent more time walking around the table than actually massaging me. Out of the 60 minutes paid for, she only massaged me for 30 minutes and spent only about one minute in the problem area. That's a rip-off!

By the way, this was just my own personal experience, she could very well be very pleasant and welcoming to everyone else, and I just happened to catch her in a bad day (but I doubt it). She was hostile from the very beginning, but she couldn't possibly have anything personal against me as she did not know me or had spoken to me before that day. The only thing she knew about me was that I was female and of an ethnic background. Oh, no. Could this possibly be? Anyway, I wouldn't know, as I have never in my life felt discriminated against. Maybe that is what it feels to be discriminated against.

In my very personal and humble opinion: she does not only lack basic courtesy but exudes hostility. I do not recommend her services to anyone.
