I recently purchased a copy of madden 09 and am having disc read errors and have yet to complete a game. A few months ago I purchased GTA 4 and had freezing issues. I called Microsoft and they took my xbox, supposedly repaired it and sent it back to me. This process took four weeks and countless hours on the phone with moderately slow people.
I now have freezing issues with the new game and am hearing more information on having an old xbox. Microsoft wont repair my xbox or do anything to replace them... I don't understand. They don’t make any money from console sales, all revenue is generated from game sales. Why are they insisting people go out and buy another console... I want to switch to PS3, its blueray and not near the problems. I see the writing on the wall... First Vista, the biggest flop in OS history then xbox.
I'm buying a MAC and a PS3 and boxing up my xbox and PC for a UPS delivery to Redmond, WA with a big "thanks for helping me make a change" letter. Bill Gates... Your foundation does great things for people who don't have resources, your company does nothing for the people who give you the resources! Thanks a bunch BILL.
