I ordered a coffee table by telephone on 1/11. They offered a slight discount to order by phone rather than on the internet. When I received the -mail confirmation, I noticed that the wrong color table had been ordered. I immediately e-mailed the company about the problem. I called the next morning and spoke with an customer service rep who assured me that the mistake would be corrected. The next day I received an e-mail that the wrong item had been shipped. I called again, and was reassured that the shipment would be stopped and that the correct item would be shipped. The wrong item arrived on 1/17. We called the customer service representative on 1/18, and again were promised that the matter would be resolved. We are still waiting to hear from someone with authority to correct the mistake. All of our e-mails to the company are answered with responses saying they are working on the problem, and that we will hear back in one business day. So far multiple e-mails and phone calls have gotten no response. We have had wonderful customer response from overstock.com, and expected the same from mercantilla. If I had read the previous reviews, I would never have ordered from this company.
