Waiting 10 months for crib, charged on credit card

I had been 5 weeks pregnant in- May and have been thinking of the Art Barn “Darcy” cot for my newborn child. Our mother, mother-in law and that I visited Pottery Barn Children near my house to purchase (and spend top dollar for, being $1,100) the gorgeous cot. I named just before departing to ensure they'd it in-stock. I had been informed there is just one Darcy crib quit which it had been the ground design. I had been informed we're able to purchase it to get a discount that was really thrilling to us, being $300. We reached the shop that evening and talked using the supervisor. He advised us they had the Darcy bureau/changing desk and also the Darcy cot ground versions readily available for us to buy in a really reduced price. We instantly purchased the bureau/changing stand to get a reduced price of $200 and a whole group of cot bedding, cushions, publications, additional gadgets etc. The cot wasn't readily available for us to purchase right now simply because they had a need to purchase a brand new group of equipment in the producer. We decided to retain in contact together before equipment arrived in and we’d get the cot in those days. Weeks passed. We were continuously touching the supervisor, who had been excellent and held us advised of the problem. The organization practices wouldn't provide him a good “yes” or “no” solution regarding when or when the equipment was in the future in whatsoever. We chose to wait before equipment arrived in since this Darcy crib was alone quit and was my dream crib. Weeks passed. He'd voiced using the corporate practices often (as did we at this time) to no avail. They'd not provide a certain solution. Lastly, the store-manager informed us he didn’t believe the equipment might come in. At this time my infant, Oliver, was nearly 4 weeks old and have been resting in his Bunch ‘n Play since delivery. It'd been 7 weeks because we first strolled directly into Pottery Barn for that Darcy cot. He felt terrible for that scenario we were in with the acceptance of the Western Regional Director, Linda Carstenson, decided to promote us another cot to get a discount ($500 in the place of $1000). We find the “Larkin” cot (clearly never as adorable whilst the Darcy) instead. I simply needed a cot for my boy. Enough is sufficient. Well, it just-so happened the Larkin cot was on backorder. We were educated the Larkin cot wouldn't be shipped to get a month. Good. Whichever. What’s yet another month? It was receiving increasingly more absurd but I needed a pleasant furniture piece for my boy! One which I really could manage! We decided to delay YET ANOTHER MONTH for this cot. We decided to these conditions: when the cot was shipped, the entire cost could be taken care of by charge card (my mom-in-law’s). Once the shipping organization established it-up, I'd contact Art Barn and let them know I had been pleased. Easily was, the reduced price could be modified about the charge card, and that I might have my cot. Easily wasn't happy, the organization might disassemble it, consider it back, and also the cash could be returned instantly. I obtained a telephone call from Art Barn’s shipping organization, Excella (I’m not good of the spelling). The vehicle from Pottery Barn hadn't managed to get for their factory however so that they didn't possess the cot to provide to us. It'd be considered a week overdue. Another week. Are you KIDDING ME? I named the Eastern Regional Director, Linda Carstenson instantly to go over my problem. I'm shocked at this company. I'm shocked at the corporation. I'd to depart two communications on her voicemail before she'd poor people store-manager contact me back. He might do-nothing within this scenario. All he might do was apologize. This had nothing related to him anymore. He'd previously completed anything he might do and that I desired to consult with somebody higher-up within the Pottery Barn string. I expected him to provide me Linda’s chef. He offered me the title of Doris Simms (another Local Director, higher-up). I named her and quit a note exactly the same time. Another point out be produced: he'd another shipping day in his pc than exactly what the shipping firm explained. I talked using the supervisor and quit the concept for Doris on Friday, January 28. It's today Friday, January 31 and that I haven't noticed back from Doris or Linda. I've quit three communications on all of their voicemails since Friday. Nowadays, my mom-in law examined her charge card record to locate $936 billed from Pottery Barn Kids. We've no cot. We've not obtained a telephone call back from the Local Manager in months. I don’t understand what to complete at this time. All I needed was a pleasant cot for my boy and today he'll be 5 weeks previous in 12 times. This is actually the toughest support I've previously experienced. The worst.
