Gorman’s Furniture (Lakeside Shop), Shelby Township, Mi – Requested one (1) loveseat, one (1) sofa, and two leather recliners mid-October. Were informed by our salesman (Craig) that purchases get 8 to 10 months, but were also informed we'd have our furnishings before Christmas. Furniture didn't appear. No-contact from Gorman’s since original purchase. Mid-January we obtained a notice from New York furniture producer our furniture was planned to vessel in the manufacturer on February 28th. Nevertheless no-contact from Gorman’s since original purchase. After contacting or salesman he was amazed we'd obtained the notice, and stated he'd contact the manufacturer. Your salesman named three times later merely restating the factory’s shipping day. No reaction from Gorman’s since mid-January. Delivered a contact (via Gorman’s site http://gormans.com) on January 24 for their Lakeside shop indicating my discontent using their support, and insufficient connection with our salesman. No reply from Gorman’s. Delivered another mail on March 2 to all Gorman’s shops shown on the site. The 2nd mail involved a duplicate of the very first, and my need that my furniture be shipped by March 14. No reply from Gorman’s. My spouse quit a telephone email communication with this salesman on March 12 challenging they contact us. No reply from Gorman’s. TWENTY ONE (21) months have handed with just one ineffective contact from our salesman (Craig). They've $2500 of our cash, and we've nothing. Please provide due consideration before buying furniture out of this organization. March 14.
