This Person, demonstrated very poor workmanship, and left a job incomplete for the time he had spent. He had taken draws totaling $6,500.00 for a contract originally priced at $9,700.00. The total time he and 2 other workers spent on the job, arriving at 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and leaving the work site in a mess daily at 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, was approximately, work began on May 8 and his last day on the job site was May 16. Total man hours worked approximately 136.50 man hours.in that period of time he had completed re-roofing an area approximately 10 X 10 or 100 square feet. Less than one day, built a 7 X 7 = 49 sq ft flat, no pitch or angle to the roof. Plywood cover and applied a water proof material less than one day, cut the hole for in drop in a skylight in the roof, less than one day, nothing was done to the inside of the roof where it opens to the attic and opens to my bed room, took less than one day, replace an rear under the roof about 6 X 6 = 36 sq ft, with T-111, this was suppose to be the new concrete board, this took about a day and a half, couldn't figure out how to make cuts, and had to buy new aluminum trim. Left the job site cluttered daily, had his trailer that he used to bring supplies to the job site in my driveway the entire time he was coming to this job. When he finally left the job site, he left 3 bundles of shingles, he purchased and did not use, a full roll of ter paper/felt. Various complete sheets of plywood, 4 x 4's, parts of 2 x 4's, 2 x 6's and other assorted pieces of wood. Because of the amount of work completed, and when I mentioned the hours of work I was told he had to drive from Ellabell daily, which I thought he knew when he took the job, the fact that none of the work was completed or completed satisfactory, I am request that he refund at least $4,000.00 of the $6,500.00 I paid him. I am requesting that because he told me he was your representative for this project that you recover the money I have requested and return it to me, and place his name on you list of 'shoddy workmanship".
