Talking to a person, from Jam Enterprices, about a cable box, that would have a hdmi input to use on my flat tv screen, he convinced me, that their boxes, would differently do the job for me if I have cable coming into my home already. I purchased one, and they were going to give me, another one, for the small shipping cost of $35. After receiving the cable box, and reading the instructions, I started to realize, that this might be a scam. The directions only had web sites to go to and the web site that they put on the instructions was www.support which that's how I found this rip off report.
This company has this other web site: www.techsupport2012 and a email: [email protected], where they will take care of your problem. Believe me, before you get this far, please do not get stuck like some of us have, DO NOT BUY ONE. The paper work will protect them, in defects, because, without the cable company activating, witch they will not, because the box is not theirs.
The shipping they want you to put a insurance return, which when they sent it to me, did not have that insurance coverage, and a stocking fee probably, will always apply, because you have no way of working their box, because your cable company will not activate it and when they receive the box, back they will tell you that it works and you will be out of money and the cable box will be back in their hands again, and good luck trying to get in touch with them for anything.
I am now, going to file, with the Better Business and attorney general, and for nothing else, try to have these so called companies, check out, and see if they are faults advertizing. Believe me, it's been a nightmare.
