My wife and a friend got nailed today (5/7) by 2 young guys in an SUV who wanted to 'give away' some speakers. They got $300 from her, but she got a pair of 583LR speakers and a set of 6 'Home entertainment system' speakers including 4 satellite speakers, a center channel and a powered subwoofer; at this point I'm not too sure who got the short end of the stick.
They seem to work OK, but I have no idea what their retail value might be.
