Ripoff Company (s) off you free cell phone by e-mail you refuse the offer they send the phone anyway its a good idea not to give this company your card #'s

2 weeks ago, i recieved an email from CoolSavings.com in connection with an offer for AT&T phone and plan from WireFly.com.

I needed a new phone so i went through the process. It looked like a good phone and plan so i went ahead and ordered. I recieved an email stating that AT&T would not be able to give me a phone without a deposit but Sprint PCS had approved me with no deposit. So i ordered that phone.

I received another email stating that they needed a credit card to charge the $10.00 shipping and handling fee. I do not use my card on the internet, so i declined and cancelled the order. Then a company called CellularChoices.com gave me a call on the phone and asked me to please reconsider ordering a phone.

They then assisted me while i was on the phone with them to look at phones and plans offered by Sprint online. I found one i liked and then placed my order. She waived the shipping and handling fee but i was still required to place a credit card on file with them for credit references. I thought this was wierd, but said ok.

They told me i could go to Whereismyorder.com and check the status of my order. The phone was on its way. About a day later, i got an email from the first company. Wirefly.com that stated my first order that i had cancelled was on its way also!

I right away called them to ask why a order that i had cancelled was being shipped to me. They said that they had no information that my order had been cancelled. I then faxed them the email (they would not expept an email from me) that they had sent to me stating that my order was cancelled.

They then told me that all i had to do was refuse shipment on the order. Easy enough. 3 days after i did that. Sprint sent a bill not only on the phone that i kept and ordered, but also on the phone order that i had cancelled and refused shipment on.

Sprint was nice enough to waive all the fees since the phone had been returned. But when i got the phone that i ordered, it was not web-based like it had been advertised to be. And also the 2 months unlimited minutes that were also offered were not on my service either.

Come to find out. Sprint had cancelled that promotion 3 weeks prior to my order. They did nothing to make right the wrongs. They simply stated that they will have the web-site checked out and remove and false information.

They offered me nothing in place of what i was supposed to have and when i asked if there was anything that they could give me in place of what i thought was on my phone. They said no.

I definately would not order online from these people any more. They are most definately a RIP-OFF!!
