Warranty Repair Scam

Client Protective Services

I'm one of the most significant people who bought a NIKON D5000 and after only over annually the ability source went. Camera doesn't switch on. I've an In-House Extended Service Strategy with CPS, Customer Concern Support. The client support individual required my info to document a state situation # 041-1W1-065-UOZ,

I delivered my camera to CPS and was optimistic I'd have it back quickly in operating situation.

After 2 weeks of waiting I chose to contact CPS.

Our first phone dissatisfied me since the CPS customer support consultant explained the "Accuracy Camera Fix in Brooklyn wants additional time decide the precise reason for harm". That is was the very first rest.

May 16 I named again:

The 2nd rest was: CPS customer support consultant explained that my camera requires a component that was ordered from Asia

May-23 I contact again

The 3rd rest was: CPS customer support consultant explained that my camera required some components that needed to be requested.

June I named again

The next rest was: “Consumer Concern Support should sadly return your gear unrepaired. The service-center specialist has suggested that the item is beyond economical fix (BER) because of water/fluid harm discovered upon examination”

Why were components must be requested from Asia to get a moist broken camera? The camera had never been damp.

I called CPS customer support four-times and each time I acquired another clarification about my D5000.in my opinion that CPS customer support attempted to cheat me by detailing that some components must be requested from China. After I named the 2nd period the CPS consultant explained they needed to purchase extra components for that Nikon D500. All discussions between me and CPS customer support were documented. I discussed that I just applied this camera in my own workplace which the camera was never under any moist conditions.

I don't suggest that anyone spend their cash by buying the prolonged CPS INSURANCE, particularly with costly gear enjoys DSLR camera or cameras due to their unreliable plan. It’s really in order for them to utilize the “beyond affordable fix-soaked damage” to every bit of costly technology gear.

Ultimately I got my camera back in the big-box measured for 18X18X12 (DIMENSION???) That's enough room to get a little stove and also the container was filthy and broken with large amount of openings onto it.

It the camera inside was lied individually from covering substance

Camera wasn't loaded in bubblewrap and shifted easily within the big-box. Battery was missing.

CPS customer support couldn't provide me a reason for this.

Why components were requested from Asia for "MOIST" camera?

Why different components were requested from Asia to get a second-time to get a “WET" camera?

Where's my battery?

Why did I've to pay for $25 for regular back cargo and obtained a container that appeared as if it originated from a trash container?

And — WHO'S RESPONCIBLE for several awkward support of CPS?

Thanks Sergio Solovioff
