I spent a total of 750 dollars to fix my 42" HD plasma tv. Without even opening it he said it needed a new part for the mother board. He said it would take 3 weeks for the part to get here. He took the tv the next day. 2 days later he returned the tv saying it was fixed. Personally, I don't think it needed a part. After 3 weeks the tv has red grouped lines running across it. I called him back and he says, without even looking at it that it had nothing to do with the repairs he did. I tried to convince him to just look at it and see if it POSSIBLE he hit something loose he said he would have to charge me again. He made the analogy if a mechanic fixes your car battery and you get a flat tire after that, it's not there fault. I told him a true story, "The car dealership I go to did routine maintenance on my car and accidentally dislodged the battery connectors and my wife actually got stranded because of it. They took it in and looked at it for free and did determine it was there fault and fixed it NO CHARGE." He said that he doesn't do that. There's no telling how many people he has done it to. All I wanted was for him to look at it. Accidents happen. If you did it on accident, I understand, just fix it. Coincidences happen. If he had nothing to do with it, I understand that also. But, he wouldn't even entertain the idea about looking at it or taking possible responsibility for the damage. When I told him I was goin to get another person to look at it and take action such as this, he said, "Do whatever you want." and hung up on me... I would like to take some kind of action against this probable scammer.
