BenQ W5000 projector purchased from Projector People on 10/17/08. As soon as the projector was received, I applied for the advertised $200 rebate.
18 weeks later, I am still waiting to receive the rebate.
I have called BenQ, but I was given the brush-off. I also contacted Projector People, and they assisted me by forwarding my enquiries to BenQ - still nothing.
I am a fan of BenQ products - this is my second BenQ projector. I really don't understand why they would want to upset and alienate their loyal customers by offering rebates they have no intention of paying.
What a shame to lose customers this way...
