I was headed into a taco bell parking lot and two of guys in a blue Chevy Astro van with Massachusetts plate #: 322 cao. One guy was told me he was 19 and the other one looked to be in his early 20's. They waved me over to them and told me they were from a warehouse in New Jersey and they had recieved an extra box and they were trying to get rid of it because they had to deliver the other boxes in 20 minutes.
They showed me a magazine that showed the price of the item, which was priced at $2995, and told me that they would give it to me for $500. I was a little leary at first, then they showed me their clipboard and driver's license showing me the warehouse that they worked for, "Innovative Sound Concepts", and their names, one of them was Victor, trying to prove to me that they were not stolen. It all looked legitimate.
I gave in and went to the bank and got the money. They even gave me a reciept. I checked the web site when i got home and thought it was legitmate, now I google it and find out how stupid the idea was. Oh, well. You win some you lose some. I don't need another sound system, i was buying it hoping to make a little money to pay off some debt. So much for that idea! Now i have more debt than when I started.
