I was also suckered into buying speakers from a tall slender blond guy, in a white company van, who stopped me as I was coming out of the Bank of America located on the corner of Stevens Creek, and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road.
He gave me the same story as pretty much everyone else, saying how these were high quality speakers, and the showed me an invoice from someone he supposedly just delivered to, and a brochure with a picture and price which showed the speakers worth about $600 dollars each. I ended up giving this guy $300.00 and they sound like crap. I feel like an idiot!
