After reading a Rip Off report I thought it was me writing the report. My experience with ShopNBC and Protron mirrored that poster with very few differences. My to (2) televisions didn't last eight months before they went to black. The first one went to black in 5 months and the second after eight months. There were replaced with refurbished televisions not new televisions. The televisions have a defect with the power source and I was told that by a television repair person from Suwal Electronics. The people at Protron are completely untrustworthy and the product is inferior. Be careful with Shop NBC becase they do not stand behind the products that they sell. I was informed by Mr. Mat Hagen, (763) 549-2063, a customer care supervisor at Shop NBC, and I'm quoting "Protron and Shop NBC mutually agreed to discontinue there relationship". That langauge would only be necessaary if there was sufficent evidence that the product, in this case protron, was inferior and Shop NBC was threatening legal action because of the number of complaints about the product. Although I do not know this with any degree of certainty everything that was said by a previous poster about her interaction with Shop NBC and Protron seem to support that fact because as I said in my opening statement it was a mirror of what occurred with me.
