We bought appliances through Goedekers hoping to save a few dollars over our local appliance store, but in the long run it ended up costing us much, much more! We were suppose to have the appliances Monday, July 15th between 1:00 and 5:00. JB Hunt was the shipping company they used. The truck never showed up until 6:20. Over an hour late and no phone call! Then the company could not find our appliances on the truck! The next day we find out they FORGOT to put our appliances on the truck. We have made several phone calls and emails to Goedekers and the lady I have been talking with is very kind, however, I'm sure her hands are tied. Somebody from management should be talking to us as we have lost hundreds of dollars having to eat out for 5 days because the house we just built and moved into had no appliances. Then we also ended up throwing away hundreds of dollars of food from our old house because we had to be out of it for the new people to move in and we had nowhere to put the food! Niether JB Hunt or Goedekers have offered to compensate us for this. Our appliances are now suppose to come tomorrow, but at this point, I am not holding my breath! Its been 7 days past when they should have been here!
