CCA Or First National Card
Ripoff

Well I received my letter of credit approval from CCA (yes I have bad credit too) and I decided to play along with them. Since I am aware of rip off scams such as this one, I thought I would post here to let you know exactly what to look for in a fradulent company.

I called to activate my card and the first target of dispute was when the live operator pick up. It sounded like they were in a casino. (the address is in Las Vegas remember?) After the operator went through the process of whatever she was saying (i couldn't here nothing she was saying) I asked her to repeat everything she had just said, but a little slower. (This is a psychological interrogation method used by law enforcement to determine guilt or innocence). She immediately took the offensive.

She became irate and TOLD me that I needed to turn my phone's volume up. Bad decision. Did she even know who she was talking to? After a few abrupt words with her, it was very clear that she was not happy with the job she had and she put me on hold to get her "supervisor" on the phone, just what I wanted. (Note the quotation marks in supervisor, I'll explain this later) Well a man answered the phone and asked what my problem was. I excitedly told him that I didn't appreciate one of his employees becoming irate with me because I didn't understand a word she was saying and wanted her to repeat every word a little slower. Here is where the fun began!!!

We went through the motions that he knew that I wasn't interested in activating a card and that he nor his employees didn't have time to "play games", so I sincerely apologized and said lets get down to business. (This was the reason for the entire call right?) So I asked him if CCA was registered with the business office of the City of Las Vegas and he said yes but he was not at liberty to divulge information about the company to me over the phone. This is where the phone call is to end!!! Information about who I am and what kind of money I have is important to you over the phone, but information about who you are and what you do is not important!!! Give me a break!

My suggestion to all of you is this; You'll never get something for nothing in this life. Don't be fooled by this scam because that's all it is. Follow the information on this site because these are people just like you. What the people I talked to didn't know was that I've been employed by scam artists just like them, but I learned a big lesson from working in the scam industry... It dosen't pay in the long run.
