Modelrep found me through a casting site. It seemed to be a good idea or so I thought. I paid at least $300.00 and felt secure in getting my back if I was unhappy. The first month I recieved a very cheap camera to use for my modeling photos. At the time the model website said I had a choice of a digital or regular camera. Of course I picked the digital. After I received the very cheap dollar store camera, I emailed Modelrep and was told they don't send those out anymore because they were to difficult for the models to use. I believe he is to cheap to deliver what he promised. I also received a Wal-mart sweater and a Old-Navy tank top. With this It also had a pair of Oakley sunglasses, a knock-off of Oakleys I should say. This was not the worst of the whole deal. After I sent in the photos, I was able to go to the Amazon site and see myself in the ad.
Nothing was done to the picture color-wise to make it more sales worthy. I waited for my sales revenue, I was very dissapointed. I waited for my next monthly project, and never received anything. I made my request to get my money back and was told I would only receive it through monthly revenues. So I waited and still received less than $1.00 for the third month in row. At this rate I would be in a nursing home before I ever got my money back. You also have to save print-outs of your monthly revenues and send them in after they total a certain amount. Yeah, I'll never get my money back!
Modelrep talks about how much they spend on websites. If they're really paying that much, I'm not the only one getting screwed. He also changes whats on his site often, so he doesn't have to hold up to what he claims is so wonderful.
