Hi! I am now fighting a battle with another cellular company and my research shows Verizon, Cingular and Alltel all have thousands of victims! Here's a quick line-up:
The first is the name of the company; the second is the number of admitted victims on this general website; the third is the number of victims if there are only 1% who find the website; the fourth is the number of victims if 1 in 1000 find the website (VERY LIKELY)
Alltel—103—10,000—100,000
Cingular—205—20,000—200,000
Verizon—314—30,000—300,000
Meaning that there are at least 60,000 and perhaps 600,000 victims out there of these three companies.
I would really like to communicate with those who are having the same problem as I am with the final goal of nailing all these leeches, not just mine or yours.
Please feel free to contact me by using the rebuttal box with your thoughts. It may be a while before I respond, as I will be in the hospital and perhaps will undergo heart surgery. That recovery could be a month.
Let's join together and put these sleeze bags in their place. There is strength in numbers and we are, for the most part, in the right, considering the bad faith contracts on the part of the thieves. (They have the $ and we are only pesants to be exploited.)
Also, write to Chairman Michael Powell, FCC, 445 12 th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20554, and tell him your story. If just five percent of the admitted victims do this, he will begin to get a message.
