After reading a few complaints about SMC on this site I figured I'd share my story.
Last summer after my husbands company closed their doors to move to Mexico. We seen a SMC Infomercial, being without an income we thought this was something we could make some money with. And be able to stay home with our four small children.
Wrong! After we charged the thirty-something dollars (we assumed was the cost of the kit, and we pay no more.) on our credit card. We recieved an invoice stating that we still owed well over $300.00.
Looking at the most resent statement from SMC we still owe $75.00. Since we entered into a "contract" when we ordered the membership kit, there is nothing we can do to stop SMC from billing our credit card. If we stop payment we will be in "breach of contract". Not to mention it will be added to our credit report.
