My younger sister was scammed by this lady Christy Aguilar. She was her nanny for her 3 small kids and Christy wrote her an $850.00 bad check on a closed account. She would leave her kids for weeks at a time with no concern where they were and never called to even check on them while my 19yr old sister cared for them at her apartment.
Once my sister called her to tell her she needed to be paid while she was still caring for the kids because she had no money for food so Christy claimed to be wiring her money thru Western Union and she could pick it up at Walmart well my sister went to several different Walmart's to collect the money while Christy was in Dallas but there was never any money wired. She lied and sent my sister on wild goose chase with no intend of ever giving her any money. I would take them to buy groceries because she never paid my sister. My sister was worried that she wasn't going to come back for her kids so she we found her mother address off Nina Lee Rd in Houston, TX and dropped them off there. Christy would have my sister take the kids to Chucky Cheese or Celebration Station and claim to pay her for her expenses which was a joke. She never even gave my sister money for food to feed her children. Once my sister couldn't take of the kids but Christy had to leave to Dallas and my sister offered her male friend (who is a good person) but Christy didn't know this and she agreed with no worries just as long as she didn't have them. My little sister had them for the oldest ones birthday and Christy didn't plan anything for his 6th birthday because she wanted to go out that night. We assumed she worked for an Escort Service. We took the kids out for Halloween because she was out of town. That night the cops were telling us to be careful Trick or Treating and I remember the middle child was so scared of police because he thought they would take them away but we reassured him the cops were good. My husband and I thought it was so odd that he was so scared of cops at the age of 4, now we understand. I came upon this site because my family and I have rountinely wondered how the children were doing and if they were okay and we only had Christine Aguilar's name.
Once I found this site I immediatley called my sister, my husband and mother to inform them of this site. These children were so indepedent at the ages of 3,4 and 6 and never mentioned their mother or father but always worried about each other. Those kids touched our heart because they were so young and innocent with no stable family.
If anyone has any information on the children, we hope they are doing okay. The last we saw of the kids were after 11/11/02. Christy wrote my sister a bad check and when my sister tried to collect money by calling her Christy threatened that my sister by telling her to bring the kids belonging back and return her, Christy's, apartment key because she has a sister who is an FBI agent advised her to do so. (She doesn't live at the Ebony address she used to live in apartments off Aldine-Westfield, but she's probably moved since then.) We could care less if Christy gets hauled off to jail with her husband, who she did claimed she was divorced from, but we do hope someone is taking good care of those children. They are too young to be alone in this world.
