Upon receiving my credit card statement, and analyzing the charges, I immediately realized that the charge from My Pay Systems was not one that I had made. I only use my credit card for a specific type of merchant, and this certainly did not fit that category. Without pause, I called My Pay Systems, and was told that the charge would be lodged with the merchant, www.datingplayground.com, as fraud, and the charge would be removed.
Not a naturally trusting individual, I contacted the issuing bank and told them of the situation. They were immediately suspicious of the charge as the easily noted the consistency in the history of my purchases, and passed the information on to the Fraud Department. I also canceled the account that I had with the issuing bank.
In closing, I would like to offer great thanks to usacomplaints.com. As I was talking to the bank, I searched the consumer complaints for similar cases. At the top of the list, was a case from Albert in Louisiana, who was billed $49.95 on April 3rd, exactly as I was. If this happenned to you, pursue reimbursement to the max extent possible. This is obviously a widespread fraud issue, persevere and see that justice is served.
