Well I have been wanting to be a commercial driver ever since I was a little kid. And with no local employment around much, I figured now was the time to start pursuing my Commercial drivers license, and thought, what better way to do so than go to a driver training school for it? I tried several years ago for a school in Indiana that a friend of mine attended, paid training and housing and guaranteed job placement with this company, but your under contract for one year with one of there trucking companies.
Couldnt do it at the time since license was under suspension and didnt think nothing of it until about two months ago. Was online looking for driver training schools and Alliance popped up and I figured, why not? Give them a call? Well everything was set up and They sent out a recruiting agent to my home for a meeting and all. He had all sorts of enlightening information about the school that made you think your making the right choice for driver training schools. Well, I sold my personal vehicle prior to this for the enrollment fee of $495 dollars. I didnt see on the contract that it said refundable within three days.
I asked the man (Richard) if anything was to happen to where I couldnt attend at anytime if that money was refundable. His words were oh yeah its good for up to a year. I was not clear on everything and the recruiting agent (Richard) called me about once or twice a week before I was due to the classes making everything sound Reassuring that everything was going to be great and that I was making a big step to a great career with the best training school. The weekend before class I was called once more to check to make sure everything was in order for the class starting on Monday Morning,
First questions on things I had to have with me was my driving record and my two References and social security card and original birth certificate. Yes I have these items, Ok and how about the $4995 for tuition. Wasnt aware that I had to have that much cash up front to get into school. He pressured me to ask family or relatives or anyone to borrow that money and reassured me that it was fully refundable after training and job placement. WRONG!!! Well, I cant turn to family for that kind of money, its just not there, hard times are hard times.
I told him well nobody has that kind of money and I wont be able to attend, I guess I will get my $495 dollars back from the school. I was told that they dont refund that money after three days. I went through the roof since he lied to me in my own home!!! Salesmen, thats all they are. They sell you a dream and then ruin it when you cant afford to pay them for tuition. Well thought nothing of it until I was informed of this site and I have read many others stories on here and I am shocked!!! So I say with the others!!! Do not attend this school!!! Its a rip off a scam and they are dirty!!! And I hope the crew of Alliance reads this!!!
