Chris L. Chauncey, Peak Performance Training Real Estate Training Course Rip-Off

A man by the name of Chris L. Chauncey, who listed himself as the President of a company called Peak Performance Training at 30211 Avenida de las Banderas, Second Floor, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688, sent out flyers inviting new purchasers of a Real Estate Software Program to take classes through his company to learn to use the program. He is not in any way connected or sanctioned by the program so I will not use the software company's name. The initial training session scheduled in Phoenix on Thursday, October 28th was cancelled and rescheduled for Friday, November 19, from 9am to 4pm.

The class was to start at 9am but computer problems delayed it until after 10. More problems kept him from using the projection system with computer that he had intended to use. He used a computer that one of the other class members was using. It was extremely difficult to follow his presentation as glitches in his program kept occurring. He did not have the workbooks promised in the flyer and said he would have to mail them later, as changes were being made. He was unable to present parts of the program and blamed most of the problems on the Training Center facilities. Finally, late in the afternoon, he said due to the problems he was having, he would reschedule a class in Phoenix and allow us to attend free. He promised to mail the workbooks in about two weeks. I did not receive a workbook or schedule for another class so I called his 800 number. The woman who answered said he had been ill with the flu, but checked his voice mail daily. After having left word several times and not receiving a response, I e mailed him, asking for the workbook and class or a refund. His first e mail said he had been ill and the workbooks would be mailed in a week. My last e mail to him was 12/26/99, after he e mailed me telling me to watch what I say about his company, as he has documentation for his illness. His 800 number has since been disconnected.

During the class in October he mentioned he was moving his company back to his hometown but I cannot remember where in the midwest that was. The class cost $129.00 and wasted a day when I could have been with customers. I feel very betrayed and ripped off and want him to refund my money.
