Very unsatisfied with the services, tutors not being prepared and qualified. Wasting a lot of time during the session not being prepared. Even though work that needed to be done for that tutoring session was always send in advance by e-mail. Nemours lies and deception about the program from the staff at tutor jam. Ones called one the mistakes no responsibility was ever taken I would like a refund for the remaining hour left since tutoring with tutor jam has been a big waste of time and money and is nothing remotely close to as advertised. Very unqualified and unprofessional staff at tutor jam. I spoke to Fatima and Evan on more then one occasion letting them know how unsatisfied we have been with there services for many different reasons and that one of the most important requirements I had was wanting to make sure that the tutor they pick for my Daughter was a Tutor that speaks clear English with no accent, I was told no problem all the tutors working with younger children are tutors who’s first language is English. First tutoring session my Daughter received was a tutor with a strong accent. My daughter spend the hole hour asking her to repeat herself and on top of that she gave her wrong answers on her homework. I spoke to Fatima right away and asked her why she place my Daughter with a tutor with a strong accent, she had no explanation. Tutor jam told me the price for tutoring sessions twice a week was $129 a month. After my credit card was charge $129 and after the first wasteful session I was told that if I want a clear English speaking tutor (even though she knew that was one of my biggest inquiries before starting) I can get one but I have to pay $40 more a month for one. Second session my Daughter had a new tutor, we asked her to over look the homework that was worked on with the first tutor The new tutor confirmed that everything was correct and complete so my Daughter hand it in her homework the next day and got incorrect on it and received a bad mark, We were very disappointed. Two of tutor jams tutors confirmed that it was correct. What would that tell you? The tutors are not qualified in the field that they are being assigned in. Ones again no correct respond was giving except that they are sorry. At this point we had no faith in believing that this was going to get any better and it didn’t. No progress reports like advertised, staff that won’t call you back to deal with any concerns or questions you have and much more. I have e-mail from Tutor jam staff about changes being made on my daughter account for tutoring session way after the session had taken place, to notify me about changing tutors for a session that took place a hour or more before. Explanation to that was they don’t know why I received the e-mail mark with time send hour or more after because they send it way before. We all know e-mail time send does not lie.
