To whom it may concern:
Arts consulting group is a recruiting company for the arts with offices in new york. I applied for a grants management job that was posted online. Last month i had a lunch meeting in new york with their local vice president willem brans and he promised me i was going to obtain the job in exchange for helping him out with a side project he was working on.
To my surprise his project was to obtain $1500 cash for himself. He subtly asked me for 1.5k in exchange for recommending my credentials to his client. At the beginning
i thought this was a joke but he made himself very clear: he was the gatekeeper and he wanted an individual fee for putting my application ahead of everyone elses. He also told me that this was a common practice in new york.
Im a perfect match for the job they advertise and because of this creep now i dont stand a chance. Nobody wants to listen. I went to the d.A. Office with this information but it is all circumstantial unless other people come forward.
