Looking for some help in my future finances, I ordered what I was lead to believe was a free trial course by Robert Shemin (a legitmate and published author.) I was charged $19.90 to my credit card though.
The product that arrived was obiously "home burned" CD's and instruction manuals that were transcipts of the CD's in 3-ring binders. Very unprofessional looking for an accomplished author.
30 days later I received an invoice stating the $19.90 charged and that me "free trial" was over and I was now goin to be charged another $380.05 if I did not reurn the package in whole in only a couple of days.
I sent it back to the adress that was on the UPS slip that it was originally in which is a different address than what is on the invoice. The invoice also contained a non-working 800# that I tried to call many times in hopes that this was a legit mistake. When you dial the 800# nothing happens not a sound!
I included a copy of the invoice and demanded that my $19.90 be returned and no charges were authorized to my card. I sent it back today so we'll see what happens
